World Cup Event Terms & Conditions

These Event Terms govern AthanLab's “Guess the Final” World Cup prediction game (the “Event”). They are in addition to AthanLab's general Terms of Service and Privacy Policy, which continue to apply. By entering the Event you accept these terms.

1. Eligibility

  • You must have a registered AthanLab account and be signed in to enter.
  • You must be at least 16 years old.
  • One entry per account. You may edit your prediction up until the entry deadline; only your latest prediction counts.
  • AthanLab team members may preview the Event before public launch but are not eligible for any prize.

2. How to enter

  • Pick the two teams you think will meet in the Final, write a short note explaining your guess, and choose an AthanLab voice.
  • We generate an audio version of your note in the voice you picked and give you a public share link.
  • To be entered into the prize draw, share your link and comment it on the AthanLab Facebook post for the Event, as described there.
  • Standard generation uses your account's character allowance like any other AthanLab generation.

3. Public display & content licence

  • Your prediction — the two teams, your written note, the generated audio, your display name, and your share link — is public and appears in the Event gallery and on your share page.
  • Anyone with your link can view and listen to your entry and share it further.
  • By entering, you grant AthanLab a non-exclusive licence to host, display, and promote your entry (including on social media) in connection with the Event.
  • Do not include personal information you do not want shown publicly in your note or display name.

4. Prizes & draw

  • 1st place (1 winner): an official football jersey + the Patala pack (ပတ္တလား) — 300,000 Athan Tokens, worth 90,000 MMK.
  • Runners-up (4 winners): each receives the Saung pack (စောင်း) — 100,000 Athan Tokens, worth 30,000 MMK.
  • The Athan Token packs are AthanLab character credit (top-up) — not cash, and they have no cash value. All prizes are non-transferable.
  • Eligibility: winners are drawn at random from entrants who correctly predicted both finalists (either order). If there are not enough correct entrants to award every prize, AthanLab will announce on its Facebook page how the remaining prizes are drawn.
  • No purchase is necessary to enter. A paid plan does not increase your chance of winning.
  • The entry deadline and the results will be announced on AthanLab's Facebook page after the World Cup final is decided.
  • Winners will be contacted using the account email or Facebook details associated with their entry. If a winner cannot be reached within a reasonable time, AthanLab may select an alternate.
  • Winners are responsible for any taxes, fees, or delivery charges that may apply to a physical prize (e.g. the jersey).

5. Conduct & moderation

  • Your note must follow AthanLab's Acceptable Use Policy — no hate speech, harassment, illegal content, or impersonation.
  • We may remove any entry, with or without notice, that we consider abusive, offensive, off-topic, or in breach of these terms or our policies.
  • Any entry can be reported from its gallery card or share page; we review reports and may remove entries and suspend accounts.
  • We may disqualify entries that attempt to game, automate, or abuse the Event.

6. Not affiliated with FIFA

This Event is run independently by AthanLab. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by FIFA, the World Cup, any participating team, or any football governing body. All team names and related marks belong to their respective owners and are used here only to identify teams.

7. Not sponsored by Facebook / Meta

The Event is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Facebook or Meta. By entering, you understand that you are providing your information to AthanLab and not to Meta, and you release Meta from any liability connected with the Event. Any questions, comments, or complaints about the Event must be directed to AthanLab, not to Meta.

8. Changes & cancellation

AthanLab may modify, suspend, or cancel the Event at any time — for example, due to technical problems or circumstances beyond our control. Where reasonable, we will announce changes on our Facebook page.
